Child's Day

Childs Day festival was held by JASO on May 7th.

First, the Child’s Day origin was explaind.

Kids (and adults) played Japanese games.
We had fun playing “Hanaichi momme”, “Darumasan ga koronda” and “Kagome Kagome” .

Kids (and adults!) were excited playing “darumasan ga koronda”.

Flying Koinobori and two ladies helping the craft corner.

At craft corner, kids made a pop-up card, a carp streamer and wearable Samurai helmet.

Yey, we made a kabuto (samurai helmet)!

We had such a fun festival.  Thank you for those who showed up and had fun with us!
