JASOは2011年3月11日の東日本大震災直後に結成された南オレゴン在住の日本人を中心とするグループで、次の理念のもとに活動しています。
1.会員による、日米交流・日本理解等にかかわる地域での活動の推進
2.地域日本人同士の交流の推進(情報のネットワーク化、日本文化のサポート)
3.子供の日本文化継承活動の場所を提供(行事、日本語教材の共有、日本人ライブラリーの設立)

Benefit Yard Sale

They are pictures of the yard sale held on March 19th, just after the earthquake hit in Japan.
It was held by some Japanese females who wanted to do anything for the earthquake and tsunami victimes and this is the beginning of the JASO journey.
